# pi2pi

> pi2pi is a USDC-native rental agreement execution layer. Tenants and landlords enter direct peer-to-peer rental agreements settled entirely in USDC on Arc blockchain. No intermediaries, no platform fees, no agency commissions. Deposits held in smart contract escrow with on-chain audit trail.

pi2pi solves the problem of fragmented rental agreements in markets with weak traditional infrastructure — particularly for international renters (expats, digital nomads, relocants) in cities like Tbilisi (Georgia), Batumi, Da Nang (Vietnam), and Nha Trang.

## What pi2pi does

- Structured rental terms negotiated and stored on-chain
- Security deposits locked in smart contract escrow (not landlord's personal account)
- Recurring monthly rent settlement in USDC
- Dispute resolution with bond posting and freeze windows
- Hash-verified printable agreement documents (SHA-256, verifiable on Arc Explorer)
- No seed phrases — Circle Programmable Wallets with passkey/biometric login
- Zero platform fees, zero agency commissions

## How it works

1. Tenant finds a listing on pi2pi
2. Tenant and landlord negotiate terms in built-in chat
3. Both sign a rental agreement on-chain (USDC deposits to escrow)
4. Monthly rent paid through the protocol
5. At lease end — deposits returned automatically, or dispute resolution if needed

- **Da Nang, Vietnam** — growing expat and digital nomad community

## Current status

- Live on Arc Testnet (chainId 5042002)
- Two smart contracts deployed: RentalEscrow and PropDepEscrow
- Full lifecycle implemented in code: discovery, viewing, contract, deposits, rent, disputes, and checkout. Full production end-to-end verification has not been completed.
- Circle Programmable Wallets integrated (WebAuthn/passkey)
- Preparing for mainnet pilots pending security audit
